May 2021 Net Worth $2,761,408 (+$28k)

Gifted $100k to a family member, and crypto portfolio has taken a pretty big hit lately. Lucky to still be a net positive month after that.

  1. Hey mate, been following your blog for a while now as it’s very inspiring.

Congrats on the success and wow $100k is a lot, potential life changing for that family member. Great stuff.

Are you still working on your biz or you retired now?

I finally bought some crypto after sitting on the sidelines for years, unfortunately I probably brought some bad luck and caused the crash haha sorry about that.

    1. Hey mate. Firstly, I can’t believe there are people that actually read this blog. Thank you.
The level of effort I put into my monthly updates these days is pretty low. I’ve really just kept the blog going to keep a promise to myself when I first discovered FIRE.

I’m still working on my own business. Getting a little burnt out, but gotta make hay while the sun shines. Can’t wait to take a long overseas holiday once borders open up again though.

Re: crypto – It’s definitely a bit of a speculative investment, borderline gamble. But I do personally like the staking and DeFi aspect of it. Getting 10%+ on stablecoins (e.g. USDC) is always nice. Sure beats the 1.5% we get from “savings” accounts these days.

Which coins did you end up buying if you don’t mind me asking?
