About Turbo FIRE Australia

I’m a 30 year old from Melbourne, Australia. Like many others, I have decided to pursue the goal of FIRE, i.e. Financial Independence, Retire Early.

I’ve only just recently started to make a very high income through my day job and my small business (both in the IT space). Rather than squander it on things like expensive watches, cars and holidays to Europe, I’ve decided to save and invest as much as possible during this time and build up my nest egg. Make hay while the sun shines, and reap the rewards of financial freedom for the rest of my life.

Inspired by other Australian FIRE blogs such as Aussie Firebug, Life Long Shuffle and Strong Money Australia, I started this blog to document my own journey to financial freedom. Its main purpose is to help keep myself disciplined, accountable, and stay on track during my path to FIRE.
